Confirm the Item and Variant Before Inspecting Details
- Match color, size label, model or version, selected option, and quantity to the order brief.
- Compare the front, back, sides, and overall shape; one camera angle can hide or distort details.
- Check visible color and texture under more than one view while allowing for lighting and screen differences.
- Compare seams, panels, hardware, closures, included parts, and other visible construction with the intended listing.
- Request a measurement photo when fit depends on a dimension that is not already shown clearly.
- Inspect the visible packaging and included pieces without assuming packaging proves product identity or authenticity.
Use a Category-Specific QC Photo Checklist
Shoes
Compare both shoes and both sides. Check shape, alignment, toe and heel symmetry, sole attachment, stitching, visible marks, size label, and packaging. Request insole or outsole length only when the measurement method is clear.
Clothing
Check front and back, color, seams, closures, print or panel alignment, visible marks, size label, and flat measurements at the same landmarks used in the sizing comparison.
Bags
Inspect shape, handles, strap attachments, hardware, zippers, edge finish, lining, pockets, visible marks, and all parts stated for the selected option.
Accessories
Confirm dimensions, color, quantity, closure or attachment points, surface condition, and included pieces. Ask which functional checks are actually available rather than assuming operation.
Ask for One Clear Photo or Measurement at a Time
Please photograph the front and back of the exact item in even light.
Please place the tape flat from armpit seam to armpit seam and keep both numbers visible.
Please photograph the left zipper attachment directly from above.
Please show both shoes side by side from the heel so I can compare alignment.
Please photograph the packaging and all included parts in one frame.
Replace vague requests such as “send better photos” with a visible test. State the part, angle, lighting, measurement landmarks, and unit when those details matter.
Record What the Photos Show—and What They Do Not
| Check | Observed evidence | Unresolved question | Requested action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Example: sleeve length | Tape is visible but starts above the shoulder seam | True shoulder-to-cuff length | Repeat from the defined seam in centimeters |
Illustrative record: describe only what is visible. Do not convert an unclear image into a claim about authenticity, composition, durability, or overall quality.
